100MWp photovoltaic poverty alleviation project was successfully connected to grid and generate power in Wangqing

 “100MWP Photovoltaic poverty alleviation project”contracted by us, was connected to grid and generated energy on September 29th. The project has a 220kV step-up substation, a 100MVA double-winding on load regulating transformer, a 35kV single bus, a grounding-station used transformer and CYG Sunri SVG reactive power compensation equipment (including 15km line). In this engineering, our company mainly undertook the overall design of step-up substation, contrary-lateral expansion and external line, the procurement of electrical equipment for step-up substation, and handing of grid-connection procedures. CYG Sunrise was responsible for all installation and debugging of secondary monitoring system, station high voltage protection, high and light voltage protection and measurement.

The project was officially launched on April 11th. From May 10th, we began to start the civil construction, so far, after overcoming many difficulties in design, complex procurement, and poor construction conditions, our EPC team members have accomplished the line part and contrary-lateral interval expansion construction, and this success ensured the smooth construction of the step-up substation. The whole project only took 171 days.

During the implementation time, our company's deputy general manager went to construction site to command progress. Project manager, together with project management team members and engineering center debugging team members worked day and night. In order to ensure a high starting point planning, standard design and well-qualified construction, we strictly controlled security, quality, progress and cost in the whole process. As a consequence, the project has been successfully delivered and given highly praise by the owners and local government.
